Mary McKenna is a serial tech entrepreneur and angel investor based in Donegal, having invested in 40+ early stage startups. In 2023 she co-founded Ireland’s first and only women-led angel syndicate, AwakenAngels. She is featured on Computer Weekly’s 2025 List as one of the UK’s top women in IT.

Mary is a distinguished visiting Entrepreneur in Residence at the University of Oxford and was awarded an MBE by Her Majesty the Queen for services to digital technology, innovation and learning.
