Brian Marrinan works at the intersection of food and agtech, climate, deeptech, and investment. He works with companies, public bodies and European programmes to explore how emerging technologies can translate into commercially viable businesses, stronger industries and new sources of economic value.

His current work includes leading EIT Food’s Investment Readiness programme, acting as a juror for the EIC Accelerator and EIC STEP, the EU’s funding programmes for scaling companies, and an evaluator across several international programmes from the Innovation Fund to the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF), drawing from his industry expertise and experience as an investor across several different investment funds.
