Dr. Rohan K Jain is President of Human BioSciences, Inc., the Maryland-headquartered company that pioneered advanced wound care in 1991, when its Kollagen™ technology produced the first collagen wound dressings cleared by the FDA. Kollagen is pure, native collagen that retains its natural triple-helix structure, the same structure as the collagen the human body makes. HBS produces hundreds of thousands of dressings every month at its facility in the United States, and is setting up similar manufacturing facilities around the world through its extensive network of international partners. Dr. Jain holds a doctorate in law and a master’s in business administration from New York University, and a bachelor’s in biomedical engineering and materials science and a master’s in engineering management from Johns Hopkins University.
