Scott Ashby is Co-Founder and CMO of Unchained Music, a UK music-tech company with a global team. Scott’s career began at Metropolis Studios, Warner Records and Universal Music Germany before moving into artist management, developing artists who built international careers. His work is featured in publications including Forbes, Rolling Stone and Entrepreneur Magazine.

Scott has helped grow Unchained from a DIY distribution platform into a broader technology and services business, working with a diverse range of established artists and labels. He is also Head of Operations at Sonic Wax, a vinyl pressing plant and distribution company supplying vinyl to global retailers and some of the largest independent artists in the UK, modernising production using technology and AI.

Championing a human-first approach to music across businesses, Scott is passionate about improving systems without replacing human creativity.
