Michelle Gallagher heads up Business Development for Immersive Bioscience and Biotherapeutics (iBio), at University of Limerick, where she leads the development of business partnerships and industry engagement in Ireland and abroad.

Her role focuses on building meaningful industry partnerships across the bioscience, biopharma and biopharmaceutical sectors, supporting iBio’s residency model and connecting students, academics and employers through an innovative approach to immersive learning. She works closely with industry, academic and public-sector partners to strengthen collaboration, develop talent pipelines and create opportunities that support both students and the future needs of the life sciences sector.
