Jerry Hallissey

Shannon Foynes Port Authority
Head of Business Development

Jerry Hallissey is Head of Business Development at Shannon Foynes Port – Ireland’s largest bulk and breakbulk port.

Jerry Hallissey represents the company across all trade lanes that matter to Ireland’s economy: bulk and breakbulk cargo and traditional trade lanes. He lead the trades defining what comes next — intermodal green logistics, cruise, and renewable energy both onshore and offshore, alongside future green fuel production and facilitation.

With a 32-metre deep-water channel, over 1,200 hectares of development land, and statutory jurisdiction over the entire 500 sq km Shannon Estuary. That’s meant putting Shannon Foynes on the map internationally: a memorandum of understanding with Norwegian Offshore Wind, a green hydrogen corridor agreement with the Port of Rotterdam, founding membership of the Global Floating Offshore Wind Ports Alliance alongside Associated British Ports and BrestPort, and a working agreement with the Port of Cleveland.
