James McCann is co-founder and CEO of Everhaze, an Irish communications technology company developing AI-powered intelligence and agentic tools for the PR industry.

He previously founded ClearStory International in 2017, scaling the business into an international technology PR consultancy working with more than 200 companies across 25 countries before its acquisition by Core Optimisation in 2025.

Earlier in his career, James held international PR roles with Web Summit across Europe and Asia. He is a member of the Public Relations Institute of Ireland’s AI Advisory Committee and has more than 15 years’ experience spanning communications, technology, media and entrepreneurship.

His current work focuses on the impact of agentic AI on communications and the transition from time-based agency models towards technology-enabled capabilities and outcomes.
