Michael Spector is President & CEO of BCR Cyber, the Baltimore-based company behind Maryland’s Cyber Workforce Accelerator. Under Michael’s leadership, BCR Cyber launched the Accelerator with the Maryland Association of Community Colleges and scaled it statewide across all 16 of Maryland’s community colleges, where learners train hands-on on the company’s proprietary Series 3000 Cyber Ranges, have their skills validated directly by employers, and are supported into cyber careers. In its first 14 months the program drew more than 1,500 applications and has already produced several hundred job placements, building on the more than 3,500 people BCR Cyber has trained since 2017.
