Peter Canning is the Founder of High Res, an Irish creative production company specialising in Design, Virtual Production, immersive environments and large scale creative technology installations for film, television, public realm and cultural projects.

His work spans scripted and unscripted studio based productions for major streaming platforms, as well as municipal, cultural and international showcase projects, where immersive technology is used to communicate narrative, identity and place at scale.

Peter is an Emmy award winning lighting designer, with an active interest in innovation and industry collaboration within the immersive and screen industries. As a founding member of Eirmersive, High Res is deeply engaged in shaping the future of immersive technologies in Ireland, with a particular focus on production ready solutions for public, cultural and creative sector applications.
