Alistair Rodgers is the Assistant Principal, Aerospace, Advanced Engineering and Clean Growth at Ayrshire College. With almost 25 years within the further education sector having previously held senior roles within Glasgow Clyde College and West College Scotland. Throughout his career, Alistair has focused on employer engagement ensuring that apprenticeship training and skills development provision meets the needs of the employers, managing several major contracts which generate additional income to the college. Within Alistair’s current role he has responsibility for the Engineering, Aerospace and Construction curriculum areas with a focus on Clean Growth and Advanced Manufacturing. In addition, Alistair also focuses on external employer engagement and networking with a focus on alternative income across the curriculum areas through increasing commercial and apprenticeship contracts across the college.
