Stuart Millar is Head of Employer Engagement and Innovation at Ayrshire College. His responsibilities include developing strategic relationships with Ayrshire employers and securing and delivering programmes that support workforce development, including apprenticeships, leadership development, and upskilling and reskilling initiatives.

Stuart graduated with an Honours Degree in Product Design Engineering and went on to build a successful career in the automotive industry, designing drivetrain systems. He joined Ayrshire College in 2009 to lead a project focused on expanding aeronautical engineering provision across the Ayrshire region.

With a strong foundation in innovation, Stuart places particular emphasis on partnership working, collaboration, and knowledge exchange. He has developed an extensive network of industry, education, and public-sector partners, enabling collaboration and skills development initiatives at regional, national, and international levels.
