Dominic Blakely is Innovation and Entrepreneurship Strategist with UNB’s J Herbert Smith Centre for Technology Management & Entrepreneurship and Senior Advisor to the President of UNB. During more than 13 years at UNB, he has held roles in fundraising, senior administration and innovation. He teaches in the Master of Technology Management and Entrepreneurship program and supports student ventures through prototype development, customer acquisition, mentorship, travel and entrepreneur-in-residence initiatives. Dominic is also a UNESCO Chair in Futures Literacy: Anticipatory Systems for Innovation and New Ventures, H2A Canada Coordinator with the Harvard Health Accelerator, and a member of the SXSW Pitch Advisory Board. His career spans politics, sales, non-profits and fundraising, with a consistent focus on building strong networks that turn ideas into action.
