Mary Rodgers is CEO of Galway City Innovation District, more fondly known as PorterShed, and has led it from concept to campus. The PorterShed is celebrating 10 years of innovation this year and is recognised on a national and global stage as a best in class innovation hub Mary has been recognised in Ireland’s Top 100 People in Tech 2024 and 2025 and 2026. Mary is also the regional CEO of Halo Angel Business Network (HBAN), CEO of the All-Ireland Irish Tech Hub Network, and Regional CEO of the NDRC. Mary amplifies globally focused Irish tech startups, facilitating technology innovation and collaboration throughout the West region and the Island of Ireland. Mary serves as a Director on many boards including the Morrison Legacy Foundation and Gaillimh Le Gaeilge.
