Bob Zhang leads business development at the Howard County Economic Development Authority (HCEDA), where he focuses on business engagement, retention and attraction, cybersecurity and IT, and international business development. He also leads initiatives supporting export growth and foreign direct investment.

Bob brings experience from Fortune 500 companies, IT consulting, the federal government, and entrepreneurship. He previously served on the Maryland Governor’s Commission on Asian-Pacific American Affairs and currently serves on the Maryland-Washington, D.C. District Export Council, supporting companies seeking to expand into global markets.
