I have over two decades of experience in the the adult and further educator sector. I have dedicated my career to empowering learners through the design and delivery of innovative, high impact education programmes that support workforce development. My work spans curriculum design, learning innovation, and the integration of emerging technologies to enhance learner engagement and performance. I am currently pursuing a Professional Doctorate in Human Performance and Innovation at the University of Limerick, where my research focuses on the efficacy of immersive technologies particularly immersive virtual reality in achieving learning outcomes within the Further Education and Training Sector. Drawing on my my practitioner experience and my ongoing doctoral research, I bring a critical and evidence informed perspective to the role of immersive technologies in workforce development and training.
